About the Founder

C.Muniyappan, popularly known as IMC Siva, is the founder and director of Individual Media Communications (IMC), a leading media production and rental company in Chennai. He is a self-made entrepreneur who started his journey as a tea master in 2000 and rose to become a successful cameraman and businessman in the media industry.

IMC Siva has a passion for cameras, lights, sounds and film sets. He learned the art and craft of cinematography from working as a camera assistant for various serials, documentaries and events. He got his first break as a cameraman for a documentary project on Kumara Guru College, Coimbatore in 2006. Since then, he has worked on many prestigious projects such as IPL interviews, government documentaries, corporate events, and political campaigns.

In 2007, he founded IMC with his friends to provide quality media services to clients across various domains. IMC offers a wide range of services such as album works, candid, exposing, pre-wedding photoshoots, traditional videos, etc. IMC also rents out state-of-the-art equipment such as led lights, audio units, wall LED, tele prompter, blackmagic mixer unit, ronin rs3, crane 2 gimbels, sladers, etc. IMC owns Sony's PMW 200, PXW 200, FX 6, S3, FX 30, Canon's 5D MARK 4, Blackmagic's Mixer 4k, and all the lenses from Sony and Canon.

IMC Siva is a visionary leader who believes in empowering his team and nurturing their talents. He has a staff of more than 45 technicians who work under his guidance and support. He takes care of everyone in his company and treats them as his family. His aim is to take IMC to the next level of excellence and innovation in the media industry. His motto is "We should groom ourselves, shouldn't wait for someone to do that for us". He lives by this principle and inspires others to do the same.
